D708: PRESENTING AT RINGWOOD PROSTATE CANCER SUPPORT GROUP

My first of being a guest speaker at a cancer support group. I have a feeling this won’t be my last.

I have been wanting to create a positive focused support group for my cancer circle. I’m putting this out there for the universe to conspire to make this happen.

I’m humbled when the people came up to say how I have inspired them to stay positive in their journey. I was the youngest in the room. Yet, cancer taught me something beyond my age.

It’s beautiful to see these men talk openly about their story.

I love the fact that there are women in the room too. Patient is not the only one who deals with cancer. It is a family affair.

I’m grateful to be surrounded with so much love and hugs. What a beautiful group of people.

Reminder for men to get yourself checked (especially if you are over 50).

Prostate cancer is the most common cancer among Australian men.
