Do you know one thing I noticed when I went through cancer treatment is the need for transport and accommodation. I wonder if something can be done somehow to match a volunteer for transport or pay it forward uber voucher / airbnb for cancer patient?

I’m very lucky, I live 30 minutes away and my friends have been kind enough to take me in.

I remember hearing a story of elderly lady who lives in Bright ( over 3 hours drive from Melbourne ). She was picked up at 5 am by the transport people for her chemo treatment. Then, she’d spent almost all day there.

I felt so nauseated by chemo. It’d be horrible for her to travel 3 hours in the car 😵 The lovely lady still gave me a hug and a smile. She’s a champion!
