D248: THAT STRANGE TRANSITION TIME AFTER YOU HAVE BEEN GIVEN ALL CLEAR

My cancer friends will understand this. I wonder if you find it odd as well that your hair is growing and you starting to look well but your body is still not 100%.

On my PET scan the doctor even showed me that there’s still inflammation on my radiation area.

First is to accept that it will be a lengthy process. Next, is to remember to listen to your body even when you don’t have anymore treatment. Rest is still very important. Take your time to heal. Don’t rush it.

Say no if you need to. Life can get busy once you can start planning.

As odd as it sounds, life is simpler during treatment. You have no other option but to focus in the moment.
