Good morning. Happy Wednesday 🙂

Dedicating this quote for mums out there.

“In the end it is nothing other than the loving kindness with which the woman cares for her child that makes the difference. Her concern concentrates on one thing just like the Buddhist practice of concentration. She thinks of nothing but her child, which is similar to Buddhist compassion. That must be why, although she created no other causes to bring about it, she was reborn in the Brahma heaven.” – Buddha

Do you take time to BREATHE…mindfully?

I am a tad unwell today. A day after the injection, I usually get a bit sick. Mum’s and Kim’s care never fail to keep me smiling.

Ps: Thank you Julie Kirk for my new comfy dressing gown xx

Now, that I have passed my first cycle (Each cycle consists of 5 chemo drugs : VDC for 2 days and IE for 5 days with 2 weeks break in between).

I have just been advised my next round will be at chemo day unit on 30th and 31st July for my VDC. It will be my first experience at the day unit. I still need to do 5 days inpatient for IE.

2 down, 12 to go!!

Ps: Anyone up for doing Hospital Fun Run ? If we get enough people interested in doing hospital drop off/pick up, this could be an opportunity to help other cancer patients to have hospital fun run too. I can just taxi it but chemo is more fun when you have friends around 🙂

Do you HAVE FAITH that ALL SHALL BE WELL?

Laughter before bed. My mum has slowly learned English. She is the cutest haha.
I also want to give credit to Kim, who has been giving me a lot of support in my journey even if she is a camera shy.

I have two amazing women besides me to take me through the next 9 months. Woo hoo yeah I have passed my one month journey!!

Good night. Sweet dreams 🙂

Love & Hugs,
Nat + mum! 🙂

Good morning 🙂 I am feeling better today. Thank you for your love.

Starting today, I invite you to share your “Start your day with a SMILE project “. As much as this is my commitment to keep on smiling, I want to dedicate this as my pledge to stay positive no matter what for mum.

Post your smile and join the smiling force! Happy Monday 🙂 xx

Do you BELIEVE in MIRACLE?

Thank you so much for your love, prayers and healing vibes! Miracle happens and I feel a lot better today 🙂

I believe the world saw my vulnerable moment yesterday. If I had the choice, I would have done another video. Unfortunately, life happens and take away our choices.

By grace, I was put in a situation to be vulnerable and exposed myself to be brutally honest with my emotions. May this give freedom for others to open their hearts and be vulnerable too. As I have met many on my journey who build their walls for far too long.

Mum’s love made me all teary. Pain I can bear but love gets me everytime 🙂

I believe in miracle. THE LOVE MIRACLE 🙂

Do you have the DETERMINATION to STAY POSITIVE even when bad days hit you?

I am unsure if I should post this as there were tears…but also laughter as always. I ran out of spoon to do another video as I am unwell today. Hope this will still make you smile 🙂

I’m the sickest I have been this round. I vomitted in the morning. My walking pace is down to turtle level lol. My energy level is on one breath at a time. I had to laugh when mum had to hold me and walk me to the toilet. There are days where simple things take a lot of effort. But, mum shared her determination to stay positive. I want to share that with you too. It will pass…and good days are coming.

For cancer friends out there, I am curious does your chemo brain cause you to stutter too?

The cray cray ones are the ones seeing things differently and doing it out of ordinary. Life is a lot more fun this way 🙂

Day 3 post chemo. I’m back on my juice again.

– Mixed berries (antioxidant)
– Brocolli
– Pomegranate seeds
– Grape
– Kiwi (high on vit c)
– Bok choy (I usually use Kale)
– Flaxseed oil (omega 3)
– Walnut (brain food).

They tasted yum too. Those jam packed fiber works magic for your bowels too.

PS: Nutribullet is your bestie during chemo.
