D84: CAN YOU BE EXCITED FOR PAIN?
Even fb is trying to disagree by failing to upload this last night but I refuse to give up.
For my cancer friend, chemo days can be dreading. It’s funny how our brain are quick to associate negative experience and create an anticipation for it. This happens to me too. Remember that you are not alone. Cancer is a mental battle as much as it is a physical one.
I’m sending you love, hugs, strength and courage.
As I always say,” When sh*t happens, universe is giving us manure to grow.”
Bring on the sh*t and bring on the growth.
It is time to reflect. I tell everyone,”It is in our deepest pain that we find our greatest gift.”

CHEMOPEDIA: Home made Frozen Ginger
Ginger and mint are great for nausea.
Today, I prep my ginger stock for my post chemo when my energy level is low.
1. Peel your ginger.
2. Blend it with water in nutribullet.
3. Freeze it on ice cube.
I have been having broth with ginger most morning. You can use it for tea as well.
Thanks for the idea Emy! And, Fang for spending ages peeling it with me 🙂
I am blessed to have kind friends in my life. My friend came down from Sydney stayed for 4 hours just to visit me then fly up again. She made my day. Bless her soul, she was thoughtful to give me a new hat.
She took me out for (naughty treat) meal before chemo and accompanied me for groceries prep for my 2 weeks recovery.
Best of all, she help out peel a bag of never ending ginger. It took us 45 minutes to finish it.
I love her quote,”Peeling ginger is harder than math.” haha
If today is your last day :
What will you spend your time doing?
Who will you spend your time with?
Who will you forgive?
Who will you hug for one last time?
Who will you say, “I LOVE YOU” to?
Make sure you do them after you read this…
while you still have the time.
D83: TO HAVE ONE, WE MUST FIRST BE ONE.
Everything comes from within.
Whatever you want to have in life, we must first be one first. And, prior to being, we must first believe.
If you want to have love, we must first be love.
And we cannot be a being of love, if we do not believe in love.
To Melbourne Firefighter Stair Climb, thanks again for your kindness. Keep being amazing, you may be putting fire out. But you also light up many people’s heart with your kindness 🙂
