D175 : HAVE FUN & ROCK’N SPRING ROLLS

The doc said my cortisol level dropped to 77. The normal range is above 500. So, I got injected with steroid. The upside is it helps with my appetite (and keep me awake which isn’t ideal at night lol). My sugar level has also gone up to 17. For the first time, I got injected with insulin. Dropping your blood pressure definitely makes your body goes to stress response. Let’s hope it’ll all go back to normal soon. When I dropped my blood pressure this afternoon, I was put on 10 norad. Then, it went down slowly and I’m off it by 7pm.

PS: Thanks Jenny for bringing me dinner treat tonight 🙂

I’m hoping I’ll be moved to the ward tomorrow. Let’s hope for no more fever and blood pressure drops!

I’m off my norad since 7pm today which is good news! Let’s hope it stays that way.

Thanks for the visit Diana (my sis in law), Siska, Anas and Linda. Also, Jenny who brought me food 🙂 And, shout out for the nurses who came by to give me hugs 🙂

PS: Behind all these smile there were pain too. I had a cry this morning 😮 Then, I got zonked out from my anti nausea medication which I asked so I can have my breakfast. I ended up missing it completely lol. I should say no to dorperidol next time. It wasn’t til 1pm that I “woke up”. It was so hard to have conversation with the doctors when they did their round in the morning.

I’ve got fever this morning and my blood pressure dropped. I’m back on life support drug again. I’ve been told I’m not leaving ICU just yet 🙁 Good thing there are people to be hugged around here.

When you are in ICU, you can barely leave your bed because you’re attached to multiple drip lines, heart rate monitor and blood pressure pump.

If you want to visit (make sure you are well as my immune is still low) , I’ll be in ICU bed 4 @ Peter Mac 🙂

D174: TELL YOUR LOVED ONES THAT YOU LOVE THEM.

Good news, I’m off my life support drug norad since 3pm today. They said I have to wait 12 hours before I can leave ICU. But things are looking up.

I’m feeling better today. Those pain killers are making me drowsy though. Still need to find the perfect mix of drugs.

Thank you for your thoughts, prayers and healing vibes.

Don’t forget to say I LOVE YOU tonight.

I LOVE YOU 😍

Good night, sweet dreams, hug tight xx

Best visitor is family 🙂

Mum and my brother’s family came for a visit at PMac ICU yesterday. My niece is so cute. She gave me a teddy. Thank you Xian Xian.

Unfortunately, I’m attached to so many cabbles which makes it hard to move or I’d give ger big hug.

Also, thank you everyone in ICU. You are all amazing 🙂

Team of pain doctor came to visit me. I”ve been told I’ll have more pain killer medication to manage the pain. Wah more goodies lol.

Good morning 🙂 May Monday be awesome to you!

My morning hugs Kelly and Cindy.

Kelly, my nurse (on the left) bathed me bright and early at 6.30 this morning. My second bed bath haha. I’ve got cathether put on as well last night. The longer you are in hospital the less worry that you have. I used to be awkward in exposing myself.

I’m hoping I can get off my life support drug but the doc says it takes time. Hopefully, soon 🙂

In the meantime, ICU hug bonanza!!

Thanks Sarah for my first morning hug 🙂

Hugs, drugs and toilet stroll lol.

She said,”We can do this later.”
I said,”Never let pain takes away your smile.”

Happy Sunday everyone.

Thank you for your thoughts everyone. I’m in good hands at Peter Mac. Thanks to doc David and my nurse Bron who gave me midnight hug! My fever is not too high and blood pressure is good too. But they will be keeping an eye on me. I’m on antibiotic and fluid now.

I also had my first experience of morphine injection for my pain. Who’d have thought it stings so much. But I’m looking forward to a good night sleep tonight.

Thanks again for your love!

Good night and sweet dreams 🙂
