D104: My last day in hospital!

I want to thank St. V team for looking after me. I have received so many hugs and laughter during my stay. Special thank you for the nurses who always made my day 🙂

It’s been 8 days and I’ve made friends in the ward. Apparently, blood cancer patients stay for a long time at the hospital. Rhonda has been in for 28 days! Please send prayers for them too.

I’m lucky that I get out today. Even happier that my doc at P. Mac is giving me a week off and I dont have to do chemo til 7th Oct.

It’s nice to be home 🙂

D104: WHAT GOES DOWN MUST COME UP!

Good news, I have been discharged today! The St.V doc said inflamation on my breast should settle down in a few days with antibiotic and the neurologist is not too worried with my legs seeing as I’m getting better everyday.

Also, got an update from my doc at P. Mac : I get 1 week off to recover which means I don’t have to go back to hospital til 7th Oct. YAY!!

PS: Thanks for the hospital fun run Gen 🙂

D103 : SUNNY SUNDAY STROLL

I got surprise visit from different friends and they accidentally rocked up at the same time. So we all went for a stroll at the park.

I’m doing so much better albeit being sick this morning. Just need to do an ultrasound tomorrow because I felt bump and sharp pain on my left breast since last night. Hopefully, all is clear. I cannot wait to go home.

D102: WILL THERE BE ANY REGRET IF TODAY IS YOUR LAST DAY.

When I was in ICU, that question came in my mind. I’d like to share that with you.

What comes up for you and what are you going to do about it?

D102 : Hugs are like hot pack for your soul. It warms your heart and soothe your ache 🙂

Adi came visit and brought her big smile with her 🙂 I’m glad I got to visit Liz as well and hear her amazing stories. Hope you are well soon Liz! She is an amazing survivor and her spirit is admirable.

Scored more hugs from the nurses too 🙂 Thanks Clare & Emily.

My legs are getting better too. Less jittery and more stable by the end of the day! Though, my legs felt sore like they have walked the distance haha.

Here’s hoping I can go home soon!

Happy Saturday! 🙂

Those wanting to visit, I’m still in St Vincent waiting for available bed at Peter Mac. I’m due to go back for 5 days chemo next Wednesday. I’m hoping I can go home in between.

I’m getting better and better each day. Just waiting for the neurologist to see me. I’m so happy I can walk again even if it’s still a bit wobbly.

Thank you for your prayers & healing vibes.

D101 : FOOD, FRIEND, FRIDAY

Bless Kelly who came visit and ended up having dinner together at the hospital haha. Life still can be joyful even when you are at the hospital.

The gift of cancer is that it brings closer connection with the people in your life and it also expands it. You’ll have old connection came back in your life and new one emerges.

I’m grateful to have you in my life Kelly 🙂

Blessings xx
