CAPTION THIS MONDAY!

Help me caption this pic and winner with most comment will go to Laughter with Cancer hall of fame 🙂

When you ask your doctor for a cure for your bald-itis…
Dr. Courtney is kind enough to lend me her hair.
There goes my blonde moment in action haha.
Thanks doc! 🙂

Sharing this for all my friends who have been diagnosed with breast cancer.

If you have been recently diagnosed with early breast cancer, the My Journey Kit can help you. It’s a free, information pack that can help you work through the shock of diagnosis and help you make decisions on your treatment and care. The My Journey Kit is also a terrific resource to share with your family and friends.

Unfortunately, I didn’t get any kit with my Ewing’s Sarcoma. Darn, I have the wrong cancer lol.

To my sarcoma friends, if you were to receive a kit, what do you want to see inside?

D257: WHAT I LEARN FROM VISITING A FRIEND IN A HOSPICE

I didn’t know what hospice means when she told me she is in hospice now. My heart is really breaking when I’m doing better and my friends aren’t.

It’s seems odd to talk about death so casually as if it is something you tell a friend what you are up to. Yet, we both still finding laughter in between. She said,”Live it up while you still have time.” Everyday, she is still setting her intentions to have a good day. Her spirit of hope and positivity touches my heart. I hope reading this can touch yours too. I truly hope miracles happen that she can tell her own wisdom.

Please send prayers for everyone in Palliative Care, especially, their family. It’s tough on the family. It’s never easy losing your loved ones.

What would you do when you got told your time is up?

D255: SPEND TIME WITH YOUR FRIENDS

It’s like many firsts again being out of hospital and finding your new normal. My friends make me laugh.

It’s a busy world out there. People everywhere. I hugged some random strangers along the way which makes me smile. It is fascinating how people say thank you when you hug them.

I still can’t last for too long. Today, I found out loud noises make me feel sick too. And, we were just having dinner at a restaurant 😮
