D98: MAKE HAPPY MEMORIES
Good news is I have been moved to a ward in St Vincent. It means I’m getting better. Bad news is I have 3 other patients who are already sleeping in my room. So, I can’t do video for the day (I should have done it earlier next time).
But these photos are proof of my promise to smile every single day regardless of what happens.
Honestly, the last 3 days was tough. I got really sick. I was in pain. I felt so weak and fragile. I had tears running down my face when I chucked multiple times.
But in life, we can choose to remember a situation as a happy or sad experience. I choose to make happy memories.
I’ll remember hugs from the nurses more than chucks from being sick lol.
Special thanks to Natasha and Cornelia, my lovely nurses who looked after me today and Kim who has been making sure that I eat something every day.
Thanks for the impromptu visit Shea and Maryam.

These 2 doctors Dr. Barry and Dr. Ingma did a gadget experiment on me to measure oxygen ratio because I’m the most well looking patient at the ICU. So I asked a strange request for hugs in return ha 🙂
And she is back hugging!
Hugs from St. Vincent ICU nurses.
Thank you Gloria , Paige and Elise for looking after me so well 🙂 You girls are lovely.
I have to say the peeing in the bed with a pan is first experience for me ha. That’s what happened when you get so sick and weak. So, look after your health peeps.

D97: Hug your loved one today!
Thank you everyone for your prayers and love.
I did something crazy on Sunday: bed hopping from Austin emergency, Olivia Newton John Cancer Centre, Peter Mac AAA then ICU and St Vincent ICU.
Good news is I’ll be moving to HDU in St Vincent, one step down from ICU 🙂
I’ll be in hospital for a little longer. But things are looking up 🙂

I’m in st vincent ICU fighting off infection. Not feeling on top of the world. But still making time to smile
En route to Peter Mac. My first ride. It feels so much better laying down in the car. Thanks Sam and Daniel.
UPDATE: Doctor says my neutrophil / white blood cells is 0. I was advised to stay for 2/3 days until it’s gone up. Still waiting for more test too. I’ll be transferred to Peter Mac in the arvo.
Shame I’m still feeling unwell or I’d hug rampage the ONJ staffs.
Thanks for the hugs and well wishes.
You are amazing xx
Got to use this emergency VIP card for the first time last night. Hopefully, it’ll be the last. Amazing what goes in your mind when you felt so ill. Life is definitely precious.
I had fever last night, its gone over 39c. Kim drove me to Austin emergency at 3am. I have been administered anti biotic. Thankfully, my fever has gone down and I am grateful to still be given time to live. I just got admitted to Olivia Newton John ward. Looks like I’ll be spending Sunday at the hospital. It’s pretty swanky up here. Got my own room too. So, it’s not that bad 🙂
