Day 863: THE IMPORTANCE OF WELL BEING / R U OK Day

Meet Corey, the man who orchestrated the Wellbeing / R U OK Day at Chisholm Institute.

Thank you Corey for the opportunity to spread happiness. Isn’t funny how universe works? I’m glad you decided to come to my presentation at the staffs conference or else we wouldn’t have met. What a shame would that be?

Though, I believe like attracts like. I know eventually we will cross path. Meeting people with a good heart and will to make a difference for others always makes my heart light up with joy.

I love your message that we have the responsibility to make a difference.

If just one person become happier that would be grand as happiness is contagious. But I know many would go home and be inspired to be happier in the here and now.

There was one girl that told me after the presentation that her best friends passed away from cancer and she hasn’t been able to talk about it. She appreciated hearing my story, that she finally able to talk about it.

Have the courage to speak up and reach out.

Have the compassion to care and listen.

Be slow to judge and quick to help.

A conversation can change life.
