Laughter with Cancer

JULY IS A SARCOMA AWARENESS MONTH

I want to honor Gavan who passed away on 23rd March 2016, just 3 months after he and his beautiful wife Maria, visited me at the hospital.

Even though he has been diagnosed as terminal, he was more concerned that I was in pain that day. That’s how beautiful he is. We were both diagnosed with Ewing Sarcoma, it was quite rare for adults to have them. I shared a ward with him a few months before he was given his terminal news. I visited him a few days before he passed away. His joyful spirit never left him.

Let’s keep his wisdom in our heart and to not let anything get you down.

Life is too short and precious to be spent with worries.

Rest in joy Gavan. Always in my heart.

In October 27th, I will be walking 25km for Gavan and my other friends who have passed and still battling cancer.

I would love to have you join me or support me on this cause dear to me : http://participate.theoneday.org.au/site/TR/Walk/Melbourne2017?px=1253543&pg=personal&fr_id=1110
