D257: WHAT I LEARN FROM VISITING A FRIEND IN A HOSPICE

I didn’t know what hospice means when she told me she is in hospice now. My heart is really breaking when I’m doing better and my friends aren’t.

It’s seems odd to talk about death so casually as if it is something you tell a friend what you are up to. Yet, we both still finding laughter in between. She said,”Live it up while you still have time.” Everyday, she is still setting her intentions to have a good day. Her spirit of hope and positivity touches my heart. I hope reading this can touch yours too. I truly hope miracles happen that she can tell her own wisdom.

Please send prayers for everyone in Palliative Care, especially, their family. It’s tough on the family. It’s never easy losing your loved ones.

What would you do when you got told your time is up?
