I may have created my giggles corner at chemo day unit. It has been spoken that I should come as a clown to entertain the ward when I have chemo haha.
I made lovely new friends to my left (Beryl & Kim) and right (Sheryn, Mark & Liz). Laughing and hugging make chemo more fun. Apology for my IV machine noise. Next time I know not to put my phone on top of it to video haha.
Chemo went well. I was there by 10am and left by 6pm. It hits me a lot quicker than last time. Usually, I get sick by day 3. These drugs affected me at 3pm, my energy level has gone down. I felt nauseous and want to rest. Early night for me.
Cancerpedia : The day you starts chemo count as day 1. From day 7 your white blood will starts to go down and it will pick up again by day 14. Day 7-14 are where you are prone to infection. Avoid public places when you can and wash your hands often.
Special shout out to : Leanne , Kym, Beryl and Sheryn for being lovely guest on my vlog and having a laugh with me.
Message of the day as shared by the ladies : BE KIND, ENJOY one another’s company and make sure your FRIENDS and FAMILY are looked after and cared for.
Thank you and good night lovelies! xx
